Tuesdays Skills School

June 16th, 2026Charlevoix Municipal or Charlevoix Country Club

First Tee of Northern Michigan is sponsoring our skills school. Players will learn all aspects and disciplines of golf through a structured program. The program runs for 5 consecutive Tuesdays as follows:

  • Older Kids (12+ years): 8:15 AM – 9:45 AM
  • Younger Kids (8-11 years): 9:45 AM – 11:00 AM

Thursdays On Course Learning

June 11th, 2026Charlevoix Municipal

Tee times will be assigned based on age and the number of players, starting at 8:15 AM and running until 10:00 AM. This schedule will take place over 5 consecutive Thursdays.

Sunday Night Scramble

June 21st, 2026TBA

Aimed toward advanced players aged 13 and older. They will compete in a scramble format for 1.5 hours, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sundays to be arranged. Some prizes for awards.

PGA Jr. League Now Available Through First Tee of Northern Michigan

We're excited to announce a new opportunity for our advanced junior golfers ages 7-17! PGA Jr. League offers travel team experiences, allowing young players to compete at different courses throughout northern Michigan and connect with youth golfers from other communities.

First Tee of Northern Michigan handles all registration for local PGA Jr. League programs. Visit pgajrleague.com to find registration information and learn more about this exciting opportunity for your young golfer.

Little Linksters

First Tee of Northern Michigan is offering Little Linksters, a program designed specifically for 5 and 6 year olds who are new to the game of golf. Classes meet once a week for four-week sessions, introducing basic golf fundamentals while incorporating First Tee's key commitments. It's a fun way to get your little one interested in the game of golf!

Program Details:

  • Ages: 5-6 years old
  • Day: Thursdays
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Location: Charlevoix Municipal Golf Course
  • Format: Four-week sessions, one class per week
  • Capacity: Limited to 12-16 participants
